Where Can I Get a Giant Bow?

At some point in your life you’ve undoubtedly seen a car commercial where a husband gives his wife a new car for Christmas. When he brings her outside to see the car it always has a giant bow stuck to the roof or hood. The inevitable question that this brings up is “where does one go to purchase a big-ass bow”? I finally found the answer.

King Size Bows in Newport Beach, CA specializes in enormous bows for every occasion that requires them. Lynda King and Kendra King Jacoby, owners of the company, developed an enormous bow that is very similar to those featured in many car commercials. According to the company thousands of bows have already been shipped off this season.

The bows themselves are 30 in diameter and 12 high, with 12 long streamers; that’s one enormous bow. There are several color options available and the bows can be shipped pretty much anywhere. Although they come unassembled King Size Bows says that they are easy to setup and very professional looking. The good news for those craving a giant bow of their own, is that a King Size Bow will only set you back around $50, which is most likely a fraction of the cost of the gift you are putting in on (house or car?).

I’m not planning on giving anyone a car this Christmas; I think it’s a pretty boring gift. I mean everyone gives cars, it’s so passé. I think I’m going to paint some rocks and give them out as paper weights. But I still might by a bow and stick it on my own car on Christmas Eve, so that in the morning I can run out with a shocked look on my face and gloat to all my neighbors about my gift. Heck I’ll probably leave it and drive the car for a month with a King Size Bow on my roof.
